Man Charged After BB Rifle Fired at Lee County Sheriff's Office Drone During Emergency Call

If you threaten or harm law enforcement resources, you will be held accountable.” Over the weekend, our 𝘿𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝘼𝙨 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 was launched to assist with a call in the area of Todd Avenue S in Lehigh Acres. While monitoring the area, the drone operator observed several males carrying what appeared to be a firearm. Moments later, one of the individuals, later identified as 𝙀𝙡𝙫𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙟𝙖𝙨-𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙤, pointed the weapon at the drone and appeared to fire two rounds in its direction. Deputies, already in the area, immediately responded and made contact with the group. During the investigation, deputies recovered a BB rifle loaded with steel projectiles. Callejas-Serrato was detained and charged with 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙧 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙩
