Last week, Peoria's Real Time Crime Center received a notification about a stolen vehicle. The RTCC quickly launched a Drone First Responder, and within two minutes, located the vehicle. Six occupants were observed bailing from the vehicle and running through a mobile home complex. The DFR continued surveilling the suspects while the RTCC guided patrol units to their hiding location. With the seamless collaboration between Peoria Police patrol officers, the RTCC, and our new DFR, all suspects were safely detained. This is yet another win for our brand new DFR program, and an excellent job done overall!
