At approximately 7:43 p.m., the St. Louis County Police Department received a 911 call for a domestic disturbance at a home in the 18700 block of Wild Horse Farm Court in Wildwood, Missouri. The caller told a police dispatcher that his adult son was not listening and was in possession of a firearm that was believed to be unloaded. At 7:53 p.m., two police officers assigned to the City of Wildwood precinct responded to the home. When officers arrived on scene, they were met outside by the suspect’s father. As the father and officers spoke, the suspect, now identified as 32-year-old Cole Reynolds, exited the home and approached the officers. Mr. Reynolds said he was a federal agent and ordered officers to get on the ground. As officers ordered Mr. Reynolds to back away, he removed a firearm from his waistband.
