Man Charged After BB Rifle Fired at Lee County Sheriff's Office Drone During Emergency Call

A Drone First Responder incident in Lehigh Acres led to the detention of Elvin Antonio Callejas-Serrato after he pointed a weapon at a Lee County Sheriff’s Office drone and appeared to fire two rounds. A BB rifle loaded with steel projectiles was recovered, and Callejas-Serrato was charged with Shooting or Throwing Deadly Missiles into an Aircraft. The agency released a Critical Incident Video on 2026-06-16.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office releases video of deputy-involved shooting of 15-year-old in Southwest Miami-Dade

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office released video footage of a deputy-involved shooting in Southwest Miami-Dade. The footage shows the deputy firing after a verbal warning when he saw a gun in the 15-year-old’s hands as he ran away; the teen was grazed in the ankle and transported to a hospital.

Volusia County S.O. releases body-worn camera video of fatal toll booth crash in Daytona Beach Shores

Volusia County Sheriff's Office released body-worn camera video from the June 1, 2026 crash at the Dunlawton Avenue toll booth in Daytona Beach Shores. Toll booth attendant Tammy Jo Baker was killed, and driver Deanna Harrell was taken into custody as investigators test for alcohol impairment. The toll booth was sent into the ocean and the access ramp remained closed pending further notice.

JSO Officers Shoot Armed Domestic Violence Suspect After He Threatens Victim, Baby, and Police

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is releasing details and video from an officer-involved-shooting that occurred on Eberly Drive on May 14, 2026. The details below are preliminary. The incident resulted in the injury of 30-year-old Marcus Delay. Delay has an out-of-state criminal history for both felony and misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence charges. Based on his conduct before and during the critical incident, Delay was arrested for Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, and two counts of Domestic Battery.
