On March 2, 2026, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Pasadena Police Officers responded to a 9 1 1 call in the area of the Sierra Madre Train Station. Upon arrival, officers located an adult victim suffering from a gunshot wound and immediately rendered medical aid. While officers were assessing the scene, additional responding personnel observed an individual believed to be the suspect. A foot pursuit ensued.
Officers responded to a robbery in progress on Lone Tree Way in Antioch. The suspect rammed a patrol car and drove away with an officer inside the vehicle, leading to an officer-involved shooting. The suspect was later apprehended; injuries were reported as non-life-threatening to the suspect and minor to the officer.
On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at approximately 12:20 p.m., Narcotics Bureau detectives arrived at the 37900 block of 11th Street East in Palmdale to serve a search warrant related to narcotics sales. Detectives were accompanied by uniformed Palmdale Station patrol deputies in marked black-and-white patrol vehicles. Detectives encountered a suspect in an idling vehicle adjacent to the target location. The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Christopher Reynoso.
